Cooper Pest Solutions HQ Grand Opening: Lawrenceville’s Revolutionary, Multi-Generational Building

Posted by: Cooper Pest

Lawrenceville, NJ – Cooper Pest Solutions, a leader in the pest control industry for over 60 years, has recently renovated and relocated to a new, multi-generational building in the heart of Lawrenceville, New Jersey. The grand opening for the building, located at 2495 Brunswick Pike, is set for 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 and is open to the public.

“We’ve been building up to this moment for a long time and I’m proud to say that all of our hard work has paid off,” CEO Phillip Cooper said. “Together we have created a unique workspace that appeals to all generations of talent.”

Cooper Pest Solutions’ pervious award-winning office space promoted its WOW culture but the company was outgrew their building and parking lot at a rapid pace.

“We needed a building that could grow with our expansion as a company,” Cooper said. “We currently have over 117 employees and we aren’t going to stop growing any time soon.”

Cooper explained that finding the right spot to fit his vision wasn’t easy.

“What I envisioned was creating a space that was multi-generational,” he said. “I wanted to create a space that embodied our culture thus promoting productivity and a positive working environment. I also wanted to be able to repurpose items from our old building as well as find a building that had unique features that could be also be repurposed. I soon came to realize that while we were looking for the perfect fit, it was harder to find than I thought.”

It took multiple visits to the 2495 Brunswick Pike site for Cooper to settle on it as the site to carry our his vision.

“When I first visited the building, I rejected the idea of it,” Cooper said. “It seemed too small and didn’t feel like it was the space for us. After walking it a second time, I was able to visualize what we could really make this space become. The 25-foot high ceiling with a clear span and no columns, room for a second floor and lots of items that we could repurpose provided me with the ingredients for the perfect recipe. There were endless possibilities with what we wanted to create here. It turned out to be the perfect space for the unique vision I had for our new headquarters.”

Cooper and his team quickly got to work on the old gym to create it into a revolutionary building for all generations of workers. After much renovating and repurposing of previous features, Cooper’s Brunswick Pike home was completed and featured several new aspects that the 351 Lawrence Station Road facility lacked.

“There are so many aspects of this building that I love,” Cooper said. “Relocating the executive offices to the middle of the building allows us to interact better with all of our team members. We’ve also created so many different meeting spaces, for large and small groups, to accommodate the need that we lacked at our previous office.”

Cooper went on to explain one of his favorite parts of the building is Butterfly Lane.

“Butterfly Lane is really unique and I love walking down it,” he said. “It’s a very open area filled with windows and eclectic furniture that appeals to different personalities with the outcome of providing a place where you can work or gather with your fellow teammates. It’s a really laidback part of the building that still promotes positive productivity.”

The new pest control headquarters features several individual work rooms boosting desks or bean bags, small meeting rooms, soundproof rooms, a café, a large educational room as well as a game room.

“With the space, I wanted to create a space that was attractive for every generation,” Cooper said. “I wanted a building that my teammates were happy with and would look forward to coming to work. I wanted a space that promoted positive productivity because that positivity goes a long way and has an effect on our customers and community. I also wanted a building design that fit our WOW culture and I think we have created that here. It feels good to call this our new home.”

Cooper Pest Solutions’ Grand Opening ceremony will be held at 2495 Brunswick Pike in Lawrenceville, NJ on Thursday, June 21 at 4 p.m. A ribbon cutting ceremony will also occur following the start of the event.
